WHO CAN APPLY?
Students in grades 6-12 can apply to join the team by submitting an application by January 25. (See note below* regarding acceptance.)
WHAT WILL WE BE DOING?
The team will be ministering to children (VBS), students (youth rally), senior citizens (luncheon), and service projects.
WHERE WILL WE BE?
Most of our time will be spent at the Sanctuary of Hope Church of God in Virgin Gorda (British Virgin Islands). To get there, we'll be flying out of D.C. and into St. Thomas, then traveling by boat to Virgin Gorda. We are still working on plans for lodging. Keep in mind that a current U.S. passport will be required for travel.
WHEN WILL WE TRAVEL?
The team will be flying out Tuesday, July 18 and returning Tuesday, July 25.
HOW DO WE REGISTER?
First, you need to apply by January 25. Click the Information Packet link above, or be at our Information Meeting Wednesday, January 11 following the student worship services. (Note that we have a limited number of spots available, so applications will be approved based on order of submission, and we will be choosing students who are best suited for this international trip.)
Second, once accepted and invited to register, you will have till Wednesday, February 15 to submit your registration with $250 deposit. A payment plan and fundraisers will be scheduled in order to pay the entire $1,250 cost for this trip.
